Libra Neoprene-Your Trusted Partner in Custom Neoprene Products Manufacturing Since 2009
ISO 9001:2015 – Our manufacturing facility operates under a certified Quality Management System, covering the production of rubber (neoprene) composite material products including bags, protective covers, wetsuits, life jackets, and swimwear. This certification demonstrates our commitment to consistent quality, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
CE Certification (EU Type-Examination) – Our products comply with Regulation (EU) 2016/425 for Personal Protective Equipment. Specifically, our swim vests and buoyancy aids are certified under EN 13138-1:2021 for buoyant aids for swimming instruction (Class B devices). This certification ensures our products meet essential health and safety requirements for the European market.
BSCI Certification (Business Social Compliance Initiative) – Our facility is BSCI audited, demonstrating our commitment to ethical manufacturing, social compliance, and responsible labor practices throughout our supply chain.
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 – Our materials are tested for harmful substances and certified to be safe for skin contact, ensuring they are free from substances that may be harmful to human health.
We conduct comprehensive chemical testing on all materials and components to ensure compliance with international regulations:
REACH Compliance (SVHC Testing) – All our products are tested against the REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 for Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC). We conduct regular screening for up to 254+ SVHC substances to ensure compliance with EU requirements.
RoHS Compliance – Our products comply with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS 2.0), ensuring they are free from restricted substances including lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBB, PBDE, and other phthalates.
PAHs (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons) – All materials are tested for PAHs content in accordance with AfPS GS 2019:01 PAK requirements for consumer products, ensuring they meet German GS mark standards.
Azo Dyes & Colorants – Our fabrics and materials are tested for banned azo dyes and carcinogenic dyes to ensure they meet the requirements of EN ISO 14362-1:2017 and EU regulations.
Phthalates (17P Testing) – Products are tested for 17 types of phthalates (including DEHP, DBP, BBP, DINP, DIDP, DNOP, DIBP, etc.) to ensure compliance with EU REACH Annex XVII and CPSIA requirements.
Formaldehyde Content – All materials are tested for formaldehyde content to ensure they meet safety limits for children's products and textile applications.
Heavy Metals (19 Elements) – Materials undergo testing for 19 heavy metals including lead, cadmium, mercury, chromium, arsenic, antimony, barium, selenium, cobalt, manganese, zinc, copper, aluminum, nickel, tin, strontium, boron, and organic tin compounds.
Halogen Content – Our materials are tested for halogen content (fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine) to ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
California Proposition 65 – Products are tested to ensure compliance with California's Proposition 65 requirements for chemicals known to cause cancer or reproductive toxicity.
Buoyancy Performance – Each life jacket model undergoes buoyancy testing to verify it meets the minimum buoyancy requirements for its designated weight class and intended use.
Seam Strength & Integrity – Seams and load-bearing components are tested for strength and durability to ensure product safety and longevity.
Color Fastness – Materials are tested for color fastness to washing, perspiration, saliva, light, and rubbing to ensure colors remain vibrant and stable during use.
Material Durability – Foam and buoyant materials are tested for resistance to water absorption and compression to ensure long-term performance and buoyancy retention.
Small Parts & Fastening Systems – All buckles, zippers, and fastening systems are tested for pull strength and security to ensure they remain safely attached during use.
We also conduct testing on all raw materials and components, including:
Neoprene Foam – Density, tensile strength, elongation, and aging tests
Fabric Linings – Abrasion resistance, pilling resistance, and color fastness
Zippers & Hardware – Corrosion resistance, strength, and durability
Buckles & Fasteners – Pull strength, release force, and impact resistance
Printing & Labeling – Adhesion and legibility after washing and exposure
